Proven Water Leadership for
Our Future

Serving Our Community

I am running to serve La Crescenta-Montrose on the Foothill Municipal Water District Board of Directors as the Division 5 representative.

As your representative, my goal is to ensure safe, reliable, and equitable access to water at the lowest cost for the residents of the Foothill region.

My decade-long career in the water sector has equipped me with the experience necessary to guide financially prudent infrastructure and resource planning.

As a Southern California native and proud homeowner in La Crescenta, I am committed to protecting affordable water for our community and the future generations of the Foothills.

Top Priorities for Division 5

Keeping Water Affordable

FMWD is primarily funded by ratepayers and local property taxes. With the rising cost of basic necessities, I will ensure Foothill spends your hard-earned money on the highest-impact projects for our water supply.

Preparing for Emergencies

The Eaton Fire showed us that water is essential during an emergency. I pledge that FMWD will prioritize maintenance and upgrades necessary to protect our community in the face of crises.

Protecting Your Right to Water

I want to ensure that water is there when you need it. Maintaining reliable access requires informed decisions on water that is imported and sourced locally. I will pursue policies and projects that protect our community's right to safe, clean drinking water.

Leading with Accountability

The decisions and policies of FMWD matter for the well-being of our community. I promise to make these decisions ethically and transparently, holding my self accountable to the community I represent.

About Me

My professional career has been devoted to tackling Southern California's most important water supply challenges. I am running to leverage my distinct experience and skills as a public servant representing my community.

  • Member of the 2024 California Water Leaders class, where I worked with water professionals across the state to make recommendations on the implementation of California's Sustainable Groundwater Management Act

My Experience

  • Leading a team of planners, engineers, economists, and water quality professionals to manage water that is imported from Northern California and the Colorado River

  • Evaluating the benefits of multi-billion dollar infrastructure projects that will help us navigate a changing climate

  • Helping the public understand complex water resource issues and policies

  • Working with Southern California water agencies to develop local water supply projects, including recycled water and stormwater capture projects

Foothill's Role

FMWD serves as the regional link between the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and local water providers.

FMWD purchases treated imported water from Metropolitan and delivers it to member agencies, including the Crescenta Valley Water District (CVWD), who provides water service to homes and businesses.
